I’ve been seeing Dr. Mahrou for about seven years now. As a cancer survivor who deals with ongoing health issues, I’ve seen many doctors over the years — and he is truly the best. Dr. Mahrou is the only doctor who genuinely listens. He lets me describe exactly how my pain feels and never rushes me.
He always takes the time to explain every treatment option and recommends what he truly believes is best for my condition. His care, attention, and patience mean more than I can express.
I’m extremely grateful to have Dr. Mahrou as my doctor. The staff is also wonderful — friendly, welcoming, and always professional. I actually look forward to my appointments because I know I will be treated with kindness and respect every single time.

Dr. Mahmoud is kind and patient. He really listens to your concerns and wants to make you feel better. I had an injection without sedation and it was great! I would recommend him to anyone who is in pain.

Dr Mahrou is very caring and takes time to answer questions and present options. I have been to other pain management Dr’s in OC and Dr Mahrou far exceeds the care I have received elsewhere. I highly recommend him.

Just had a bursa shot in my hip to help with my leg pain. So far so good. The shot itself is painless and quick. Love Dr Mahrou and the staff. He is caring and wants the best for you. So very pleased.

Dr. Rafizad always makes me feel that my medical issues are important to him. He has been caring for my chronic spine since a accident and I have expanded care to other medical pain problems. He is very a very comforting doctor.

Today i had the pleasure to see my doctor and dear friend Dr Reza Mahrou. Not only is he a true gentlemen, but compassionate, caring, knowledgeable, moral, and ethical. I had a pleasure treating his lead father and now realize where he gets his morals and ethics and values from. I also feel the About his partner Dr Amir Rafizad, both together are tremendous team. I remember when I attended their grand opening in 2004. It was like yesterday, but I’m extremely extremely proud of them and highly recommend them if you have any sort of pain.

I believe that I started my journey with Dr. Mahrou about 10 years ago. He has been on my not-so-fun…here we go! Oh, yeah! R total knee, Left total knee, L half-shoulder, R total reverse shoulder, and second R hip. Dr. Mahrou was very kind. He checked in with me, interfaced with the surgeons, he was WITH ME, not just with me. I’m willing to bet that any person with chronic pain will understand the above.
Dr. Mahrou realizes that you are more than your pain. That is his true gift.
